Growing up on the Tennessee River, Joel dreamed of owning his own marina. Founded in 1997, Jay Landings Marina and RV Park was the starting point of Joel’s marine career. Running a repair facility and being active in the Alabama National Guard flying CH-47 Chinooks and UH-1 Hueys, Joel was no stranger to the ins and outs of expensive machines from his younger days. Now, after retiring from a 26-year career in the United States Army, Joel has chosen to focus his almost 40-year mechanical and marine experience on making sure your next vessel is fit for you.

As seen on Below Deck Mediterranean, this North Alabama native inherited a love of water from his dad, and spent all of his free time growing up working on it or around it. Working alongside his father, Reid spent almost a decade apprenticing as a Marine Surveyor. After four years at The University of Alabama, Reid set off to apply his marine knowledge as a Deckhand on Superyachts on the East Coast of the United States, in the Caribbean, and across the pond in the Mediterranean. Working on three vessels, M/Y Excellence (262.5′), M/Y Excellence (153′) and M/Y Home (163.5′), Reid spent his time getting to know the intricacies of yachts. Now, Reid has been working with YSI serving customers in the Tennessee Valley and beyond- ensuring that their next boat is up to par.

Although he lives in Georgia, Bill is a sailboat fanatic. After spending years as a pilot for Delta, armed with his mechanical and navigational knowledge, Bill decided to spend more time serving his community as a surveyor, helping others make informed decisions on the boats they want to buy. Bill is dedicated to good service and has the skill set you need to ensure that your next boat is up to snuff!
